Year or Era:
compressed air (via the pump on the right)
6.25" high, by 14.5" long fully stretched by hand
These were the oddest things. Basically the majority of the body is an air tank. It has a small pneumatic valve and piston assembly that motorizes the entire unit. The wheels stretch and contract in a scissors motion that propels the Stoomdorm. At the time these came out, there was another one that was different, but I can't remember what the other one was called or what it looked like even. It was a long time ago!
I have received some flak about these not really being robots. I guess they're right. I still like them, and well... it is my page!
Scott's Tomy Space Pets- Awesome, as well as a few I didn't know about!
