From: 4/19/01 16:45 Subject: More robot artTo: jeff@jeffbots.com Hi Jeff, I like the changes you've made to your site, keeps it fresh. I especially like the robot art section. Thanks for crediting me on the SF book cover. After viewing the art, I had to pass along my favorite robot/SF art piece. About 1965-66, I began reading Science Fiction heavily, and the first book I purchased was Rocket Jockey by Philip St. John, published 1952. The book is quite plain, not even a title on the cover. However, the inside cover & end page consist of a great classic SF masterpiece. I have sent it attached as a Jpeg. This series of books from the Junior Literary Guild & the John C. Winston Company are all hardbacks, written for the teenage readership, and all have a logo on the spine. It consists of a circle containing the words "SCIENCE FICTION" bisected by an old sytle rocket lifting off vertically. They were all from 1950 - 1960, there were 30 in the series, and I have 8. One more thing I have to keep searching for! Hope you like the Jpeg, keep in touch. William Norder
